From this simple daily pleasure, Granddad Graham’s Butter Coffee Stout folds in pecans, graham crackers, and vanilla into a monster of an imperial stout that has been aged for 12 months in bourbon barrels for good measure. It’s full bodied, oily and chewy with intense sweetness, toasty brown sugars, toffee, coffee, buttercream, vanilla, rich roasted malt, creme caramel, and loads of confectionery that finishes lightly sticky with that warming bourbon character. And at 12.1% ABV, Granddad Graham would most certainly consider this a needlessly decadent bastardization of his morning coffee.
