Chateau de Pierreux Brouilly

Château de Pierreux’s 77 hectares of vines are planted in shallow, well-drained pink granitic, schistous, and siliceous soils which contain deposits of blue porphyry from the volcanic eruptions of Mont Brouilly that date back millions of years.
This wine has a brilliant colour with deep purple nuances. On the nose it is fine and elegant with floral notes (iris, violet and peony). On the palate it is soft and round with lovely length revealing floral and dark berry flavors (blueberry, blackcurrant)

Food Pairing: This wine’s softness makes it the perfect match for cheeses, white and red meats, and dishes with mild sauces.
