Calmel & Joseph Cotes du Roussillon Villages

A blend of Grenache, Syrah and Carignan from 50 year-old vines, this wine is a deep purple-red in colour, almost black. The pronounced nose has hints of ripe red fruits, almost jammy while cherry, fig and dried plum dominate. Natural sugar envelops soft tannins and aromas of candied fruits cover the back of the palate. The attack is concentrated but soft, good balance and length.
