Very deep garnet-black coloured, this wine offers pronounced aromas of crème de cassis, dark chocolate, kirsch and soy over notes of coffee grounds, anise, black olives and cigar boxes. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is nicely balanced with great concentration of savoury fruit, balancing acidity and tannins, and a long, layered finish.
