Full Fat Red is a full flavoured blend of no less than 6 grapes, hence Full Fat! The port grape Touriga Naçional, Shiraz, Montepulciano, Nebbiolo, Barbera and Monastrell. Its great texture is heightened from maturing the grapes in French Oak Hogshead barrels for 17 months before bottling. A pungent, intricate nose of blueberry, dark cherry, earth and spice layered with lifted berry fruit, there are some cedar tannins, with a spicy, refreshing finish. Seriously good and fun wine.
