J Bouchon Granito Semillon

Made from old vines planted in the 1940s, which are not irrigated, and planted on ancient granitic soils at 183m above sea level. The grapes are hand-picked and pressed in a vertical press followed by barrel fermentation. The wine is then aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. The resulting wine is fresh with ripe citrus and orchard fruit flavours, balanced by subtle, well integrated oak. Extremely well structured and complex.
