Torre de Ona Martelo Rioja Reserva

Predominantly Tempranillo with a dash of Mazuelo, Garnacha and Viura from a single vineyard slope containing the older vines of the estate which names the wine. Fermented with natural yeast then the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in new barrels, and is then matured in used barriques (80% American) for 24 months. Elegant and balanced, the wine shows great ripeness and concentration and finishes long with fine tannins and lovely mouthfeel.
