The Domaine Christian Bellang has been a family estate for several generations (the Meursault estate's family tree goes back to 1789).
In 1974 Christian took over with vines mainly in Meursault, and some of his father-in-law's vines in Savigny lès Beaune. Joined by his son, Christophe in 1995, together they expanded the estate with further plots in Meursault, Savigny lès Beaune, Chorey lès Beaune and Beaune. Today Christophe manages the estate, now totalling 9 hectares.The vines are some 30 years old on average.
