85% Prugnolo Gentile (Sangiovese) and 15% Merlot and other complementary grape varieties. This wine has been aged in oak for 4 months and has soft, delicately spicy fruit character with a lovely rich finish.
The wine takes its name from Sabatino Lulli, known as “Sabazio�, a monk from the Montepulciano Abbey who was the first to give indications on how to produce wine from the local varieties.
